I learned a lot of new tools in this project. One of them was free distort, this tool took a minute to figure out (then i looked at the picture and understood it), i will definitely try to use this tool in future projects. we learned to use graphic styles which i will definitely use to make my projects look 3D. In conclusion i learned many new tools and intend to use them in future projects.

Pollution advertisement
This project was annoying at times but worth the trouble. I was able to learn a new tool through it, this tool was clipping mask, and i'm gonna be sure to use it in projects to come. The hardest part of this project was probably just coming up with how to make the overall finished project look. I'm glad that i learned clipping mask, because i believe it adds to the overall image. In conclusion this project was frustrating but definitely worth doing.

1st Six Weeks Reflection Essay
The first six weeks was filled with fun, cool, and somewhat annoying projects. The first project simple shapes, where we created a basketball player was frustrating, due to how the program was so new. In the end though, i think it came pretty good, it being the first thing i created. The second project dirty water drop was probably the most frustrating project of the six weeks. This was an extremely frustrating project, because of the minus front, i tried that 5 times before i was told that i needed to make a copy in order to not delete the whole project. In the end, it surprised me yet again about how well it turned out. The next project the flower bouquet i got halfway done before i dropped the project in order to keep up and finished it at the end of the six weeks, it was definitely not my best work.
After that we started typography. The first typography project was a simple worksheet, in which we had to define and answer what this was used for. The second typography project, typography in illustrator, was pretty simple and didn't take much time at all, it was just typing on paths and using fonts. The next project TYPO was still pretty simple but had it's tricky moments, i had to choose a font, in this case Comic Sans MS, type TYPO, modify it, and finally add a background. The next project, Glyph Monster, was difficult, and extremely frustrating. I chose something to model the glyph monster off of, in this case a Pokemon, and created it using only glyphs, this was hard due to the restrictions of the project. Using only glyphs to create a monster was much harder than i originally expected, in the end i finished, but feel like i could have done better. The next project Typography Quote was simple, i used the quote "Earth without art is just eh..."-unknown, to create art using simple shapes such as stars and ellipses. The last typography project was Lyrical Typography. For this project i used the chorus from the song Knockin' on Heaven's Door by Guns 'N Roses. To do this project i created a man who was literally knocking on heaven's door, and inside the door i used the lyrics from the chorus, "knock, knock, knockin' on heaven's door." The very last project was the Color Theory Worksheet, I had to define terms, and answer questions about Color Theory.
In conclusion the first six weeks was fun, frustrating, and annoying, but i enjoyed it nonetheless.

Flower Bouquet
The most challenging part of this project would either be the stroke, or the stems, but i believe that it all came together nicely.

Lyrical typography
This project was overall pretty easy, i used basic tools such as star, and line segment. and it turned out to look really good. It represents the song because a man is literally knocking on heaven's door.
Glyph Monster
This project was very frustrating, due to the fact that i could only use glyphs. but i was able to create it using only 4 simple glyphs, which surprised me on how glyphs could come together like this. In conclusion this project was frustrating, annoying, but i pulled through.

Choosing and Using Type:
http://www.will-harris.com/use-type.htm
**Read ALL of it.
Answer the following: **
Why is choosing and using the right font important? Give YOUR opinion. It’s important because if you use an awkward
font you won’t get the reaction from the reader that your looking for.
What are the two most important things to remember? Type is on the page to serve the text. It
should make the words easy to read and provide a suitable background. Type should not overpower
the text. Secondly there are
no good and bad typefaces, there are appropriate and inappropriate typefaces.
Think about your reader and the feeling you want to convey, and then choose a
typeface that fits.
What is appropriate? What do you have to consider? To get the reaction you want you must consider
what typeface to use and what font to use.
Tell me the rules: (there
are 10)
- Body
text should be between 10 and 12 point, with 11 point best for printing to
300 dot-per-inch printers. Use the same typeface, type size, and leading
for all your body copy.
- Use
enough leading (or line-spacing). Always add at least 1 or 2 points to the
type size. Example: If you're using 10 point type, use 12 point leading.
Automatic line height will do this for you--never use less than this or
your text will be cramped and hard to read.
- Don't
make your lines too short or too long. Optimum size: Over 30 characters
and under 70 characters.
- Make
paragraph beginnings clear. Use either an indent or block
style for paragraphs. Don't use both. Don't use neither, either.
- Use
only one space after a period, not two.
- Don't
justify text unless you have to. If you justify text you must use
hyphenation.
- Don't
underline anything, especially not headlines or subheads
since lines separate them from the text with which they belong.
- Use
italics instead of underlines.
- Don't
set long blocks of text in italics, bold, or all caps because they're
harder to read.
- Leave
more space above headlines and subheads than below them, and avoid setting
them in all caps. Use subheads liberally to help readers find what they're
looking for.

One Word Art
When making this, i used the word long because the word just felt right, and aside from that it was easy to make a representation on, i just used the text tool and simply made a long diagonal chain, thus representing the word long.
Typography Quote
This project was overall pretty easy, the quote mentioned art, therefore i used shapes to represent art.
